BALTIC STATES & POLAND
The Baltic States in Northern Europe, on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea, consist of the three sovereign states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Poland, although a part of Central Europe, borders Lithuania and, thus, also sits on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. All countries are dotted with stoic hilltop fortresses, churches, and beautifully preserved castles, apart from the beautiful Baltic coastline. A major attraction in these countries are the old towns which operate as their cultural and tourist hubs.
